CHALLENGE: New product differs from incumbents
Astute Networks engineered their industry's fastest iSCSI storage networking processor and utilized it to develop a high-performance and low-cost storage system utilizing 100% enterprise flash memory. Yet, their product faced tremendous competition from startups and incumbents in an emerging marketplace. I researched the competition and examined how these products were utilized by customers, developed the Networked Performance Flash architecture, and launched the ViSX G3 solution to win a prestigious industry award and gain broad acceptance from industry analysts, the media, and others.
